It was in Caen, in 1850, that Biscuiterie Normande was born, specializing in the manufacture of luxury cakes made from top-quality raw materials from Normandy. In the following century, it enjoyed great commercial success, and its products were rewarded with numerous medals.
After going into decline in the early 2000s, the Biscuiterie rose from the ashes in 2013 thanks to participatory financing and the commitment of over 2,000 contributors. Biscuiterie Normande, now known as Biscuiterie Jeannette, enjoyed a new lease of life and relaunched the production of its famous madeleine! Produced by hand every day, Biscuiterie Jeannette’s madeleine is now available in chocolate, strawberry, raspberry, hazelnut… or simply plain. A cake inspired by yesteryear, bringing the sweet scent of childhood to TraitTendance snack time!
