Paris Fashion Museum
Located on the Chaillot hill, the Palais Galliera, Musée de la Mode de Paris, inaugurated in 1977, is housed in a neo-Renaissance palace, whose large garden offers a view of the Eiffel Tower and the neighboring Palais de Tokyo.
Through its exhibitions – collections with frequently renewed themes, theMusée Galliera presents part of its collection of nearly 200,000 works, telling the story of fashion from the 18th century to the present day, from both an artistic and socio-cultural perspective.
After a major renovation campaign financed by the House of Chanel, the Musée Galliera reopened its doors at the end of 2020 with refurbished, modernized and enlarged spaces.
A prestigious, verdant setting in the heart of the Golden Triangle
Since its reopening, the Palais Galliera, which now covers more than 5000m², has hosted prestigious professional events, cocktails, gala evenings, dinners… which can be complemented by a private guided tour of the Museum’s permanent or temporary collections.
In the heart of a lush garden inspired by the Italian Renaissance, it offers a variety of spaces for privatization, with an aesthetic reminiscent of the eclectic style very much in vogue at the end of the 19th century:
- The 80m² reception hall, with its large bay window opening onto the inner courtyard.
- The paved courtyard and its peristyle: magnificently restored, the paved courtyard is surrounded by two symmetrical peristyles adorned with bronze sculptures.
- The east and west wings, accessed via the Court’s grand staircase
Throughout the year, exhibitions presented in the lounges and galleries can also be privatized, offering your guests an exceptional event.
