A station turned museum
The Musée d’Orsay has a highly original history, having been housed in the Gare d’Orsay, built in 1900 for the Universal Exhibition. In a way, this architecture was the museum’s first work of art.
The museum opened its doors to the public in 1986. It owes its diversity of artistic works to the Musée du Louvre, the Musée du Jeu de Paume and the Musée National d’Art Moderne.
The museum offers a highly diversified visit, with a large art collection, and also the possibility for companies to organize a variety of events. Prestigious spaces such as the restaurant’s historic rooms, the salle des fêtes, the Café Campana and the auditorium are ideal for receptions, sit-down dinners, cocktails and conferences. These rooms, whose period ornaments and decorations have been completely preserved, will plunge your receptions into the heart of history.
Trait’Tendance offers you the opportunity to use this museum and its large-scale reception areas to enhance your events.
