In 1924, a printing works opened in the Drouot district, run by two brothers of Ukrainian origin. Free and committed, they published documents and newspapers for the Resistance underground. In 1984, political subjects were followed by commissions for the Louvre, the Centre Pompidou and Editions Flammarion. When it opened its doors in 2014, it was one of the last printing works in Paris intra-muros.
Two years later, under the impetus of a businessman, the venue was completely renovated and opened up to events. Dominated by a large glass roof, the 450m² central area is still home to a number of machines that can be restarted from time to time. In the basement, the old cellars have been transformed into cosy reception rooms.
