A historic monument
Renamed according to fashion and circumstance, the venue was successively named Théâtre Victor-Hugo, Trianon Lyrique and finally Le Trianon. Its façade, inspired by the Grand Trianon at Versailles, was designed by architect Joseph Cassien-Bernard. In 2010, it was completely restored to preserve its heritage and original patina. Today, it is one of Paris’s most emblematic theaters, and one of the last remaining Italian-style theaters in the festive, artistic Montmartre of the 1900s. For more than 100 years, it has been home to Paris’s finest opera, opera comiques, revues and chansonniers. Listed in the Monuments Historiques inventory, this venue offers a prestigious setting for business events. The superb ballroom, extended by a winter garden, opens onto the last Italian-style theater in Montmartre.
