For more than 300 years, the Liège waffle, made from pearl sugar, has been a speciality of the Liège region, making it famous in its native Wallonia. Smaller, rounder and sweeter, but also less well-known than its Brussels cousin, the Liège waffle had kept a low profile…until 2008, when the house of La Liégeoise revived the Belgian culinary tradition and brought this delicious cake up to date.
First successful in Canada and the United States, La Liégeoise crossed the Atlantic to (re)conquer the Old Continent.
Made from rigorously selected fresh produce, prepared according to a jealously guarded ancestral recipe, and baked à la minute in front of your guests, the Liégeoise waffle is now a treat for your snacks and sweet breaks!
